Repeat Dispensing

If you take medication on a regular basis, your GP can provide you with up to a years worth of prescriptions which the pharmacy can keep hold of. You can then have you medicines dispensed in several installments direct from the pharmacy, rather than going back to the GP each time. You can either collect your medication direct from the pharmacy or we can deliver to your home.

Chlamydia Screening Service

Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted bacterial infection. At least one in ten sexually active persons under the age of 25 will have chlamydia - and you may not even know you have it because most people do not have any symptoms. Chlamydia can be easily treated with a short course of antibiotics.

B-sure is the chlamydia screening programme for Blackburn and Darwen, and East Lancashire. We provide free and confidential screening for young people under 25.

Testing for chlamydia is easy, you can do it yourself and its completely confidential, you just need to pee in a pot. The sample is then sent to a laboratory for testing. Please ask our Pharmacist for more information and your and a free test kit today.
